Welcome to the Special Copenhaguen 2019 edition of CATALONIA, a biannual publication by AICS (American Institute for Catalan Studies) which is based in the large metropolis, Houston, Texas. This is the 16th edition, which commemorates the 40th year anniversary of the foundation of AICS in December 1979. We dedicate this special issue of CATALONIA Magazine to the 32nd International ADIFOLK Festival held on April 2019 in Copenhagen, Den-mark.
